Recruits the best people to serve our patients/customers.Job Requirements, Prerequisites And Essential FunctionsEDUCATION Sufficient education to obtain a valid California RN license. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred with a concentration in Perioperative Nursing from an accredited nursing program. EXPERIENCE 1. Demonstrates at least 5 years experience in: a. Area of clinical specialty b. Formulating annual budgets (operating and capital) c. Progressive Supervisory or Personnel management 2. Familiarity with agency and regulatory compliance in-patient care delivery systems. LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS Registered Nurse Required at hire Certified Nurse Operating Rm Preferred at hire Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) Required within 30 days of hire PREREQUISITE SKILLS 1. Demonstrates ability to work effectively with a diverse staff, physicians and outside agencies. 2. Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of Hospital personnel and external customer. 3. Demonstrates ability to set priorities, achieve objectives, solve problems, meet deadlines, coordinate simultaneous projects and make decisions. 4. Demonstrates clinical and technical skills in patient care delivery 5. Expert knowledge of key perioperative standards and compliance specifications (AORN, ASPAN, AAMI, Title-22, OSCHA, etc.) 6. Experience within a union environment 7. Experience in data management and analysis preferred 8. Demonstrated knowledge of management and leadership theories 9. Demonstrated leadership abilities 10. Demonstrated oral and written skills 11.
