The Sales Analyst is responsible for quoting and executing on pricing strategies through constant collaboration with sales teams - with the goal of getting the most out of each opportunity. The Sales Analyst is also responsible for tracking and communicating market intelligence and customer/job prospects and will assist sales management on various strategic projects through detailed analytical and reporting support on pricing and volume analysis, customer/end-use/segment research, and identifying opportunities.
What you'll do:

Responsible for quoting prices (material and freight) on complex jobs based on tactical market intelligence, division pricing strategy, and collaboration with sales teams.

Interprets specifications and project plans to extract meaningful information. Works directly with the sales team and takes the lead in developing bids and project pricing.

Collects, monitors, and distributes meaningful market intelligence to sales teams and management and drives pricing decisions based on data insights.

Assists sales teams in proactively identifying growth opportunities on a weekly basis, through order/quote reviews with sales teams, presenting high-priority project opportunities, monitoring customer profitability/activity, and tracking the success of sales initiatives, etc.

Supports and engages with general and area sales managers in using pricing, volume, backlog, business performance, and customer analysis to provide a clear, holistic view of the market and our position within it.

Work closely with the area sales managers to drive weekly sales meetings on KPIs, sales activity, tactical market insights, sales initiatives, pricing direction, etc.
Qualifications Skills You'll Need:
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of pricing and market analysis experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of construction materials and markets.

Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete projects timely. Handle simultaneous projects under tight time pressures.
Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to interface effectively with sales teams and management. Must be able to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Work independently and in team environments with minimal supervision.
Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Inquisitive and have a strong work ethic with the "get the job done" mindset.
Comfortable with data analytic tools and providing insights.

Salary Range - The base salary range for this role is between $100,000 - $120,000 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
