In this position you will be responsible for approving 20-25
residential loan files (from application to approval) with "Prior
to Fund" conditions on a daily basis. Will perform complex
underwriting on conforming and Jumbo products. The incumbent must
be knowledgeable in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other outside
investor underwriting guidelines.
?Review and evaluate credit reports, preliminary report, judgments,
bankruptcy documents, appraisal and income documentation.
?Perform DU/LE/Assetwise and investor underwriting findings; create
loan conditions; prepare and mail conditional approval letter/NOI
per regulation B/ECOA
?Analyze and calculate Income Documentation such as personal and
business income statements. Make sure all necessary documentation
is requested to support final loan decisions.
?Contact client to review loan program and conditions
?Follow up on appraisals and any outstanding conditions (i.e.
demands, insurance, etc.)
?Perform verbal verification of employment on borrower, if
?Contact client via phone, e-mail on a regular basis
?Approve complex loans on conforming, jumbo, CBLX, CALHRA,
wholesale and purchase products
?Assist the Director of the department on special projects
