Job Description:

A client of ours is looking for an Senior Clerk clerk. In this role, the Senior Clerk will provide a variety of routine to difficult clerical support to a department, division, or section including word processing, filing, record keeping, processing invoices for payment, answering telephones, other duties as assigned. Positions in this classification independently perform a variety of office support duties under fairly clear guidelines making decisions with the guidance of supervision in non-routine circumstances.
Examples of the duties are:

• Prepares and distributes memos, letters, reports, and other office correspondence
• Maintains accurate, up-to-date files and records, and generate reports
• Reviews documents for accuracy, completion, and conformance to established procedures
• Researches and orders various supplies
• Tracks spending and performs basic accounting functions
• Uses a personal computer to perform word processing, spreadsheet, data base, and other specialized functions

  • Work Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a one hour lunch break
