$19.19/hrJob DescriptionSummary: Know and assemble all the
different parts and pieces to complete wire component products of
various customer specifications. Utilize the assembly knowledge to
train, mentor, and guide others.Essential Duties and
Use hand and power tools effectively and efficiently to assemble
Work in a fast-paced environment in order to keep up with
Assemble different electrical devices by pulling/feeding wire,
installing boxes/pigtails, & packaging for shipment.
Testing of final assemblies.
Perform repetitive tasks with precision, expediency and
Produce the amount of finalized products required to fill
Train, mentor, and guide new and fellow employees on all aspects of
the assembly process.
Quality control checks.
Ensure all work is completed in a safe and cooperative manner.
Assist management with any other needs that may be deemed necessary
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to read, write and speak English
Knowledge of the DCN product line
Perform all aspects of the assembly and quality check process
Willingness to mentor and share knowledge
Attendance and punctuality is essential
Regularly required to stand
Use arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel and reach.
Frequently required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne
Occasionally exposed to vibration.
