Job Description:
J& M, Inc. is a third-generation general engineering contractor
in business since 1957. J& M specializes in the underground
installations of sewer, storm drain and water systems in the
public, commercial and private sectors.J& M is seeking an *Accounts
Receivable Specialist* to join our team.Summary:The Accounts
Receivable administrator will issue invoices to Customers on a
weekly basis, enter schedule of values and change orders in the
Accounting system. AR collections, and reconcile Jobs. Work closely
with Controller on AR collections and billings.Essential Job Duties
and Responsibilities:* Enter Schedule of Values for new contracts.*
Coordinate Billing documents for residential, commercial and public
construction projects.* Review, update and organize billing files.*
Update Estimate, Extra Work Order and Change Order Tracking Logs.*
Process and submit billings according to contract requirements.*
Follow up on all billings with clients and ensure payments are
received timely.* Verify billing discrepancies and resolve with
client.* Reconcile accounts for project closeout.Qualifications:*
Proven work experience as Accounts Receivable in construction.*
Detailed, organized and thorough.* Self-motivated and dependable.*
Communicate well, both written and verbally.* Work effectively and
competently under pressure.* Capable of multi-tasking.* Computer
proficient High level of Microsoft Excel skills.* Knowledge of
American Contractor a plus.*Job Type: *Full-time*Location: *
