(505) 284-4700. What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking a
Mechanical Inspection Technologist (CA) to join our team. On any
given day, you may be called on to: * Collect, organize, document,
and communicate inspection results
* Analyze the inspection data by applying problem-solving and
troubleshooting skills.
* Support in-process inspection for internal manufacturing
efforts
* Program and operate a CMM using CAD/CAM in support of engineered
designs Qualifications We Require * High school diploma plus three
or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
* Demonstrated experience programming and operating a Coordinate
Measuring Machine.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance
Qualifications We Desire * Demonstrated proficiency in the usage of
PC-DMIS software.
* Possess a sound basic understanding of models-based machining and
manufacturing processes.
* Advanced knowledge and experience, specific to model-based
inspection techniques.
* A solid background and understanding in Geometric Dimensioning
and Tolerance (GD&T) as per ASME Y14.5.
* Ability to work well in a diverse team environment

in place for the research and development of prototype manufactured
hardware components made on industry-standard milling machines,
lathes, wire EDM, plunge EDM, grinders, and saws. Hardware is
typically made from a variety of industry-standard inert metals,
polymers, and composites materials. In rare cases, hazardous
materials will be handled with guidance from industrial hygiene and
