This position involves both warehouse and office tasks, aiming to enhance the efficiency and organization of the inventory process. Responsibilities Spend 80% of your time on the warehouse floor and 20% on office tasks, with the potential for a dedicated office space in the future. Pay high attention to detail to reorganize and improve current inventory processes. Manage a team of 2-3 warehouse associates, ensuring smooth operations and task completion. Perform warehouse associate tasks such as picking items based on part numbers, scanning into the system, inventory control, and product labeling. Pull parts for various orders, ranging from single items to orders of 300 parts. Motivate the team to stay productive and engaged, even during slower periods. Essential Skills Experience in warehouse management or supervision. Proficiency in inventory control. A determined mindset with the ability to think creatively and proactively. Experience leading a team of three or more individuals. Forklift and supervisory skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Sit-down forklift experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role operates on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring a 40-hour work week. The company has maintained a consistent work schedule without overtime for the past five years. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
