Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
practical experience. 4 years of interaction design experience in
product design or UX design. Include a portfolio, website, or any
other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a
viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer
Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in visual storytelling, data visualization,
illustration, and vector drawing, as well as establishing design
systems across products. Experience with GenAI design tools and
rapid functional prototyping using AI Studio, Lovable, and Replit,
etc. Experience in partnering with engineering teams to translate
complex data requirements into scalable UI components and
interactive data visualizations. Experience with data science or
infrastructure design with a strong visual design sense. About the

Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to
craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution,
working with design partners to evolve the Google design language
to build beautiful, innovative products. In this role, you will
curate large, complex datasets to help solve difficult analysis
problems and aim to provide better data for better decisions so
that Google can build better products for the users. You will be
able to analyze, interpret, and visualize complex data into a
sophisticated dashboard and other supporting tools. The Core team
builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products.

across the company. The US base salary range for this full-time
position is $132,000-$189,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary
ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the
range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Design products and features that convey complex
insights to help Google make better decisions. Partner closely with
a tenured Staff UX Designer and contribute to the team's existing
design framework and advocate for great data design to help teams
design their tools and content. Work iteratively with software
engineers of various seniority to expedite the development of
features with high quality. Engage directly with users to
understand their problems and measure the impact by visualizing
complex data. Work with the product team to better understand user
needs and use them to inform product design choices.
