Job Description Job Description Akkodis is seeking an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for a Contract with a client in Martinez, CA. This role requires strong expertise in Basis administration to support upgrades, performance tuning, and transport management activities. Rate Range: $56/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) job responsibilities include: Perform SAP system administration activities including installation, configuration, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of ECC, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager systems. Manage system performance tuning, apply kernel upgrades/patches, and handle system refreshes, client copies, and transport management. Ensure system security through user/role administration and compliance with organizational security standards. Coordinate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot technical issues and support cross?module integrations. Maintain reliable backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations to ensure system availability and business continuity. Prepare and maintain all Basis technical documentation and provide on?call support for critical SAP environments when needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. 8–12 years of hands?on experience in SAP Basis administration. Strong expertise in SAP system administration including installations, upgrades, kernel patches, transport management, and performance tuning across ECC, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager. Proven ability to manage system security, troubleshoot Basis issues, support DR/HA environments, and coordinate with cross?functional teams for technical problem resolution.
