Job Description:
As a Staff Data Scientist specializing in Conversational AI at
Walmart Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to revolutionize
the shopping experience across our vast network of stores and
online platforms. Located in Bentonville, Arkansas, this role
entails leveraging large-scale datasets and advanced AI
methodologies to develop, improve, and deploy intelligent
conversational systems that enhance customer interactions. Your
work will directly contribute to the innovation and application of
AI technologies that aid in automating and personalizing customer
support, optimizing user engagement, and facilitating seamless
consumer experiences. Develop and implement advanced machine
learning models for natural language understanding and generation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions
into Walmart's digital platforms. Conduct A/B testing and
performance analysis to iteratively improve the effectiveness of
conversational AI models. Stay abreast of industry trends and
technological advancements to apply best practices in AI. Prepare
and present findings to stakeholders and executive teams,
influencing data-driven business decisions. Expertise in NLP,
machine learning, deep learning, Tensorflow, or PyTorch Proficient
in Python, R or another programming language Experience with cloud
services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and conversational AI technologies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize,
analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
Excellent communication and collaboration skills Medical Insurance

in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence from a recognized
institution. Certified Data Scientist–Professional accreditation
from well-recognized bodies is a plus.
