Description
Greets guests and assists with purchasing tickets, food or buffet
items, drinks, and promotional purchases and assist guests at the
redemption counter. Rings purchases accurately, collects money, and
gives correct change and presents guest their receipt for
purchases. Consistently presents self in a happy "eager-to-serve"
attitude and is courteous and accountable in all situations.
Follows instructions and works well with others.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greets all guests with a smile and pleasant verbal
acknowledgement.
Acknowledges guest with Exit Statements -Such as "Thank you for
coming" "Hope you had a great time, come back and see us again"
Must maintain a complete understanding and knowledge of
attractions, pricing, safety restrictions, height requirements,
promotions, and discount packages or programs.
Assists guests with purchases of attraction tickets or
packages.
Follow up-sell programs where possible to maximize guest ticket
average by pointing out to guest the value of doing so.
Assists guests with the food, buffet, beverages, and promotional
purchases.
Explains our operation and available amenities in a courteous
fashion.
Handles money and general accounting procedures accurately. Always
giving guests their receipt and correct change.
Verifies guest identification and signature on all debit and credit
card transactions.
Always directs guests to enjoy benefits of company discount club
and providing directions to do so.
Follows company procedures for transactions involving gift
certificates, coupons, and complimentary passes.
Monitors the lawful entrance of guests.
Always keep workstations clean and organized.
Must be able to answer telephones with a cheerful greeting and
covey via their voice "We Sell Fun" enthusiasm. Able to
proficiently direct calls to their intended recipient or take
timely message and forward accordingly.
Must be able to book birthday party and group events if needed.
Assists guests with special requests in a courteous and accountable
fashion to assure the guests encounters are an incredibly
fun-filled affair.
Works in a friendly, honest, and diligent manner with Team Members
and guests.
Cooperates with all Team Members when assigned additional
tasks.
Always demonstrates the ability and willingness to get along well
with others.
Gives tours to guests as needed if directed to by management.
Maintains uniform standards.

Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in High School, or Certificate or
Completion of the High School equivalency test.
No prior work experience required.
Able to operate POS system after training.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bilingual is
a plus.
Ability to comprehend information contained in handbooks, safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals.
Ability to speak effectively with guests and Team Members.
Ability to handle and count money, add, subtract, multiply and
divide simple math.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, sales
tax, percentages, and cash register balancing.
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables. These situations may involve Team Members and
guests.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
Safe serve certification; and/or Food handler certificate, if
applicable. (We will provide if required)
While performing the duties of this job the Cashier is regularly
required to interact with the public, Team Members, and children of
various ages.
Be standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel,
reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch,
or crawl.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job the Cashier is regularly
exposed to water, chemicals, food, paper debris, loud noise, music,
horns, bells, whistles, and other noise projected by various
amusements and recreation equipment operating at the park.
May be exposed to outside weather conditions.
May operate rides and/or attractions they have been trained to
operate or be a party host when trained to do so.
