Immediate Hire - - $17.50/hr - -PART TIME 20-30 HOURS PER WEEKMUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK EVERY SHIFTS:DAYS, EVENINGS AND OCCASIONAL SATURDAY AS NEEDED - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposesStrong Customer Service Skills Required (no Funeral Industry experiences required)Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services (CFCS) of the Diocese of Oakland is seeking a part time, on call Funeral Assistant. - The Funeral Assistant serves families who have made or are planning to provide funeral or cremation services by assisting with carrying out such services and establishing and maintaining effective communication with families, clergy and staff. - Location: - St Michael Cemetery, Livermore, CAEducation and Experience

High school diploma or GED required1-3 years customer service including direct contact with the publicPrevious funeral experience a plus but is not requiredThe minimum age requirement is 21.Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

Must possess a valid California Driver's License and proof of insurance.Knowledge of modern office methods and proficient computer and technologies.Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable viewing deceased personsMUST BE ABLE TO WORK DAYS, EVENINGS AND OCCASIONAL SATURDAYS -Evening and some weekend work requiredMust be 21 years or older for insurance requirements to drive our vehiclesPhysical Requirements
