In this role, you will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic services for small animal patients. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of conditions in pets, providing preventative care, communicating with pet owners about treatment plans and follow-ups, and maintaining accurate medical records. Collaboration with the veterinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients is a key aspect of the role. Qualifications Proficiency in veterinary medicine, including diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small animals Surgical and diagnostic skills, including the ability to perform routine procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with the latest advancements in veterinary care Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and provide compassionate care Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree and a valid veterinary license in the state of California Preferred experience in a clinical setting handling small animal cases
