Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel ICU RN (Day Shift) Location: Oakland, CA Pay: $2,799/week Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day | 5x8s | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Job Description Seeking a Travel ICU RN to provide high-acuity care for critically ill adult patients. This position supports day-to-day ICU operations, including cardiac, respiratory, renal, and post-surgical care. Responsibilities - Manage patients with multisystem organ failure - Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management - Care for ECMO, IABP, Impella, TAVR, and post-cardiac surgery patients - Ventilator management, high-flow nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP support - IV/arterial/central/PICC line management, blood product administration - Emergency response and procedural sedation support - Assist with open-heart, thoracotomy, VAT, and TAVR procedures - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response Requirements - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CA RN License - Experience: 3 years ICU RN; 6 months travel experience preferred - Patient Ratio: 1:2 - Flexibility to float to other units within scope of practice • Medical & Health Insurance Benefits from First Day for All Clinical and Patient-Facing Employees. • 401K Plan. •"Your Way is Paid" – we pay for ALL employment requirements, onboarding, physicals, titers, etc. • $300 - $1000 referral bonus.
