Job Description:
MindPath Care Centers, a subsidiary of Community Psychiatry, is
seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental
Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team of skilled
professionals. We are committed to providing tailored outpatient
mental health services, ensuring comprehensive care through therapy
and psychopharmacology. In this role, you will assess, diagnose,
and manage psychiatric disorders, ensuring holistic care tailored
to each patient's unique needs in a supportive and dynamic
environment. Our focus is on fostering well-being and mental health
through evidence-based practices, collaborative treatment plans and
patient-centered approaches. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric
evaluations including risk assessments. Develop and implement
treatment plans tailored to patient-specific needs. Prescribe and
monitor medications, assessing and documenting therapeutic and side
effects. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Engage in
ongoing professional development to remain current with best
practices. Educate patients and families about mental health
conditions and treatment options. Strong diagnostic skills in
psychiatric conditions Proficiency in pharmacological and
non-pharmacological treatments Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
effectively Capability to work autonomously and within a team

Eligible in Psychiatry Valid state medical license DEA registration
PMHNPs must be certified by the ANCC or a similar body
