Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour, Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Orthopedics/Vascular/Robotic Surgery License: State RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Required scrub experience - Experience with Orthopedics/Vascular/Robotic Surgery - Previous charge experience - Experience with charting systems Description: Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families, healthcare providers, and physicians through timely and effective communications. Requires weekends and various start times. More than two years of experience in the required specialties is essential. BLS and ACLS are mandatory, with CNOR preferred. Experience in charge roles is necessary. Familiarity with Epic charting systems is required.
