This hands-on role involves overseeing all aspects of an energy program, working closely with clients and energy professionals to meet program objectives. The position emphasizes learning program management, financial acumen, and strategic planning. Responsibilities include budget oversight, team development, vendor and client relationship management, and more.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage in talent management activities such as interviewing, resource planning, and performance evaluations
• Provide client communication and reporting
• Oversee program operations to meet client requirements
• Develop and expand client relationships with senior leadership support
• Support contract management processes
• Build trusted relationships with client teams
• Lead safety initiatives across the company
• Coordinate between centralized functions and program staff
• Identify and address issues proactively
• Ensure delivery of program goals as per Statement of Work
• Develop and manage program production plans
• Monitor and manage budgets to optimize funds and meet energy goals
• Prepare invoices and activity reports timely
• Manage one to two utility programs independently
• Report on program performance and financial metrics
• Develop financial and strategic skills
• Assist in business development activities, including re-bids and client expansionsPosition RequirementsEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of management experience or 1 year managing energy efficiency programs
  • Background in engineering, technology, or science preferred
  • Experience with lighting, HVAC, or related technologies preferred
  • Experience in energy savings calculations and incentive determination preferredSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities
    • Proven leadership in fast-paced environments
    • Strong prioritization and delegation skills
    • Effective verbal and written communication
    • Sales or business development experience a plus
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Commitment to diversity and inclusionLicenses & Certifications
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferredTravel Requirements
