About the Role:
HJ Staffing is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Epic May 2024 Upgrade for a health plan. This project includes the implementation of Service Authorizations, SSO Integration with Navitus, Pharmacy Claims Import for Patient Access, and ensuring all related downstream systems and reporting are updated accordingly.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the scope, budget, schedule, and quality of the Epic Upgrade Project
• Develop and maintain key project documentation (charters, timelines, risk plans, change logs, communication plans)
• Collaborate with resource managers to allocate and prioritize resources effectively
• Track project progress and proactively address dependencies, risks, and roadblocks
• Lead stakeholder communications and support informed decision-making
• Drive timely project execution with a focus on deliverables and milestonesWhat You Bring:
  • Proven success managing large-scale Epic implementation or upgrade projects, preferably Epic Tapestry
  • Experience using Epic tools like Orion, Galaxy, Nova, and Sherlock to coordinate activities
  • Project leadership experience in health plan or managed care environments
  • Understanding of healthcare payer operations and related workflows
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Project, Visio, and SharePoint
  • Completion of Epic's Overview of Implementation training
  • Prior experience as an Epic Implementation Director is highly preferredWhy Join Us:
