How You Will Impact Our Team

Responsible for leading cross functional teams to successfully transition new products from pilot production to volume production. Defines objectives and strategies of the programs, that include strategic and company objectives consistent with customer and contractual requirements. The candidate will be responsible for creating project plans, conducting project/engineering reviews, tracking progress, communicating status, escalating, and closing gaps, monitoring/controlling budget, and supporting a variety of engineering tasks to achieve a number of successful product launches in support of Ferrotec's Contract Manufacturing (CM) business. Supports GM by monitoring and managing all cost aspect, including pricing negotiations (NPI, Scaled Pricing and NRE) and quarterly customer pricing reviews. Develops solutions to program problems and interacts directly with incumbents assigned to program from cross functional departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Can work on complex problems and exceptions without direct supervision. Achievement of objectives must include an over-riding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization.

What Success Looks Like

• Supports product line Managing Director in cost/profit analysis of operation as a whole
• Manages all NPI programs; schedules, internal CFT planning meetings, budget control and review.
• Supports Supply Chain and Quality on Strategic Sourcing initiatives, including PR changes
• Monitors and advises on internal and customer meetings from NPI all the way through PRR (customer product readiness review)
• Supports MEs with such activities as capacity review, direct labor, and test fixtures
• Collaborates with the customer daily on all program matters
• Develops and implements procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow both within the business unit and between the business unit and other areas of the organization.
• Provides strategic information to the corporation concerning the operations of the business unit and special problems and opportunities.
• Builds effective working relationships with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
  Requirements
  
  WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM:
  
  • Minimum of BS in Engineering, engineering management or related science
  • Program Management Training
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Program Management
  • Minimum 5 years technical experience (engineering or related science)
  • Communication, presentation and leadership skills, initiative,
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills,
  • Team building and motivating, and customer orientation (Agile Methodology)
  • Ability to read and interpret product BOM's
