GILLIG LLC is the largest and most dependable manufacturer of Heavy Duty Transit Buses in North America. Our customers are in all 50 states, and include cities, counties, transit districts, universities and major private fleet operators. We are headquartered in Livermore, CA.

About the Role:
GILLIG is looking for an energetic marketing leader to help us evolve our GTM and brand strategies. This individual will partner with internal and external partners to define, develop, and bring to market GILLIG's brand and product marketing roadmaps.
This individual will report to the Vice President of Product Planning & Strategy and will work collaboratively and closely with the company's executive leadership team. This position has one direct report.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Product, Sales and Engineering to establish a marketing roadmap and strategy to support new product launches including product positioning, messaging and GTM strategy
Build and oversee the holistic marketing calendar, bringing stories to life around new products, existing products, and industry-relevant conversations
Lead the development of brand and product assets for marketing and sales teams-including video production, product marketing literature, presentations and brochures
Own GILLIG's external voice -- including evolving brand guidelines, establishing processes for use, and ensuring buy-in and adherence across the company
Establish systems and metrics to monitor business health and perception with customers and within the broader industry -- including NPS, customer surveys and customer councils
Collect and analyze information on competitive products, including features and market positioning to become an expert on the competitive landscape
Responsible for leading, managing, and coaching creative designer

About You:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 8 years of relevant product marketing experience in transportation, automotive or similar B2B industry
Proven track record of bring new products to market successfully within large/complex companies
Strong experience working with cross-functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps
Skilled in working with and getting buy-in from senior executives and partner organizations
Sharp sense for storytelling as well as creative visual design
Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology and budgeting
Analytical and problem-solving skills for coming up with ideas to increase demand of products and services
Time management and organizational skills in order to plan and execute both large and small marketing projects and initiatives
Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management, vendors and customers

About the Environment:
Daily responsibilities require consistent attendance in the office to support collaboration with key stakeholders
Hours typically begin around 6:30 am
Scope of responsibilities necessitate evening and periodic weekend productivity
Domestic travel may be required
