Job SummaryResponsible for developing and administering the Company's employee relations and HR compliance programs and strategies. Counsels and advises business leaders and Human Resources team regarding escalated employee issues. Designs and implements policies and practices to ensure the Company's compliance with federal, state, and local labor & employment laws. -Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities -Provide employee relations support, guidance and direction to the Human Resources organization and business leaders
-Develop and interpret employment policies and practices
-Monitor and research legal and legislative developments to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws
-Design and conduct employee trainings, including wage & hour, ADA, and FMLA trainings -Oversee internal investigations of employee relations concerns, including complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and other work-related concerns. -Collaborate with Comcast's Legal Department to develop and implement strategies to reduce the risk of employment litigation
-Partner with the labor relations and employee engagement teams to develop positive and proactive employee initiatives
-Excellent oral communication, presentation, interpersonal, and written skills -
-Demonstrated ability to work independently
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to travel periodically and to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Additional Job Description: -Ideally seeking 5-7 plus years of experience in employment law advising management on employee and labor relations issues -Expertise in wage & hour compliance and the administration of leave laws -Expertise in California labor and employment law strongly preferred
