Job Description:
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California
building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with
a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We
are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric
aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal

with various engineering disciplines to design high-reliability,
safety-critical systems for an electric vertical takeoff and
landing (eVTOL) aircraft Zonal management of the digital mock-up
for a large section of the aircraft Control space allocation for
all subsystems Manage routing envelopes for all subsystems Ensure
all subsystems are accessible and maintainable Manage interface
requirements models (IRMs) for their zone Manage the top aircraft
assembly part number and BOM structure Hold regular design fly
through meetings resolving any conflicts and maturing the design
through CDR Manage master geometry models for the respective zone
Ensure all system separation requirements are upheld Work closely
with manufacturing engineering to ensure the aircraft zone is
designed for manufacturing What you need: 10 years of systems or
structural design engineering experience BS, MS, or PhD in
engineering Excellent interpersonal communication skills Excellent
project management skills Experience working on type certification
of an aircraft from start to finish under 14 CFR Part 23/25/27/29
or equivalent regulations Expert in CAD design and BOM management
Bonus qualifications: 2 years leading teams Prior experience with
EWIS or Environmental control systems Prior experience in
structures design Shop floor liaison engineering experience Model
based engineering definition experience At Archer we aim to

pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports
the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting
a base pay between $225,000- $280,000. Actual compensation offered
will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge,
