position is a full-time onsite role. Key Responsibilities: Assembly
& Rework: Assemble high voltage pulsed electronic systems and
components according to detailed specifications and engineering
drawings. Perform minor PCB rework and repair, including
component-level soldering (through-hole and surface-mount),
desoldering, and board cleaning. Use hand tools, precision
soldering equipment, microscopes, and other assembly/rework tools
to complete and correct assemblies with precision and quality.
Testing and Validation: Conduct preliminary tests on assembled and
reworked systems to ensure they meet performance and safety
standards. Perform visual inspections and functional tests to
verify correct assembly and operation. Documentation and Quality
Control: Maintain accurate records of assembly and rework
processes, including any modifications or deviations from standard
procedures. Document test results and report any discrepancies or
issues to the engineering team. Safety Compliance: Follow all
safety procedures and protocols related to handling and assembling
high voltage equipment (including adhering to any PPE
requirements). Ensure compliance with industry standards and
company safety guidelines during all assembly and rework tasks.
Component Handling: Handle and store electronic components, PCBs,
and assemblies according to best practices to prevent damage or
contamination. Manage inventory of parts and supplies used in the
assembly process. Continuous Improvement: Participate in training
and development programs to stay updated on the latest assembly
techniques, rework standards, and safety practices. Contribute to
process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the assembly
department. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related
field. Alternatively, four years of equivalent experience in
electronic assembly with a focus on high voltage pulsed systems or
similar power electronic systems. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of
hands-on experience assembling high voltage pulsed electronic
systems. Proven experience in working with high voltage components
and systems. Demonstrated hands-on experience with minor PCB rework
and component-level repair. Skills: Strong understanding of
electronic assembly techniques and high voltage components.
Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering equipment, and assembly
machinery. Practical skills in PCB rework, including soldering,
desoldering, and using magnification tools. Ability to read and
interpret electronic schematics, assembly instructions, and PCB
layouts. Excellent attention to detail and precision in assembly
and rework tasks. Strong communication skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with engineering and quality control teams.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in electronic assembly,
high voltage safety, or IPC soldering/rework standards are highly
desirable. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in high voltage
environments safely and effectively while adhering to all safety
protocols. Willingness to undergo periodic training and
certification updates. Flexibility to work overtime or on-call as
needed. Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50
