A&P Technician - Piston AircraftATP Flight School is seeking
quality Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to join our growing
team. We need A&P mechanics that can fit in quickly, have a
positive attitude, and have General Aviation experience working on
piston powered aircraft; preferably Cessna 172, Piper PA-28, and
Piper PA-44.Position OverviewThis position works as a team member
performing inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on
piston flight training aircraft. The successful candidate will
possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced
environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and
quality. Technicians will also possess the ability to dynamically
move through ATP's computerized logbook management systems, adhere
to the maintenance and manufacturer manuals, and make
safety-focused decisions on a day to day basis.Minimum
Qualifications for the A&P Mechanic / Aviation Maintenance
TechnicianAirframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate2 or more
years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experienceKnowledge
and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer
manualsPossess adequate toolsDesired Qualifications for the A&P
Mechanic / Aviation Maintenance TechnicianFAA Inspection
AuthorizationPrivate pilot's licenseAvionics troubleshooting
experience (Garmin integrated avionics)Responsibilities of the
A&P Mechanic / Aviation Maintenance TechnicianPerform efficient
troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance
with applicable regulations, manufacturer's instructions, and
company policiesEnsure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance
records by properly documenting & completing required forms,
computer entries, and logbook entriesFollow all policies and
proceduresKeep a clean and orderly work environmentPerform job
