Your OpportunityThe Internal Audit Department (IAD) of The
Charles Schwab Corporation provides independent and objective
assessments to figure out whether all significant risks are
identified and appropriately reported by management and risk
functions to the Board and Executive Management, to evaluate
whether risks are adequately controlled, and to challenge Executive
Management to improve the efficiency of governance processes, risk
management, and internal controls.The Professional Practices Group
(PPG) within IAD provides the processes, training, and tools to
support the enterprise audit teams' adherence to standards and
expectations of quality and consistency. PPG also provides the data
and analysis of internal audit activities and results to the
leadership team, regulators, and to CSC's governance committees to
support their performance of effective oversight. The Professional
Practices Group (PPG) is seeking a Senior Specialist to build
reporting using information from multiple sources, interpret the
results and craft presentations summarizing key messages, and
observe resource forecasting and utilization, procurement, and
department cost center financials to efficiently meet the
department's commitments across the breadth of Internal Audit
resources and activities.Reporting to the Director of Resource
Management and Operations this role will support a growing
department undergoing a transformation and continued evolution to
meet regulatory expectations of a large financial institution.:

employees.What you are good atSynthesize and translate
sophisticated information in an easy to understand, effective
format that is both fit for purpose and audience
appropriate.Provide quality reporting by analyzing data and
translating into observations, conclusions, and
recommendations.Reporting and analysis including, but not limited
to, year-end planning, financial variances to the operating plan
and forecast and budget vs. actual hours.Partner with Vendor
Management to support the procurement process through submissions
and tracking of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders,
while collaborating with external vendors to deliver activities to
align with contract terms and monitoring for adherence to Service
Level Agreements.Partner with audit teams to build, observe, and
update resource forecasts based on capacity to resolve if all
resources (i.e., internal personnel and co-sourced support) are
being effectively used and all activities are supported;
proactively identify potential problems and propose staffing
adjustments and other solutions to audit teams.Observe changes to
the Audit Plan and update the resource management tool to reflect
revisions to budgeted hours and shifts in timelines and identify
corresponding implications to resources that may require
adjustments to assignments.Forming relationships and provide
dynamic communication with key partners through presentation of
data, discussing challenges, and providing effective challenge of
requests.What you haveA high degree of attention to detail,
outstanding organization skills, ability to balance multiple tasks
simultaneouslyThe skills to think logically, construct analysis,
and validate data results to provide recommendations and identify
root causes for unexpected outcomesProactive, results-focused
operating style with effective communication, time and relationship
management, and collaboration skillsHigh proficiency in Microsoft
Excel and PowerPointBachelor's degree or four plus years of related
experience preferred, but not required.Familiarity with internal
audit or risk management concepts a plus, but not
required.Experience in Financial Services industry a plus, but not
required.Colorado CompensationTarget Total Compensation - 69,700 -
