Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for a temporary
opening we have in Livermore, CA (remote during the pandemic).
Minimum length of assignment - four
months.Responsibilities:Month-End Close responsibilities such as
journal entries and reconciliations for prepaids, AP, and other
account balances* Processing wires, and other disbursements for
Accounts Payable* Generating reports and analyzing data* Revenue
recognition accounting* Financial statement review for
accuracy/compliance* Update financial records as directed*
Recommend financial process improvements* May assist with tax
preparation* May assist with audit preparationQualifications:*
Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Principles through college
education and/or equivalent work experience* At least 4 years of
experience working in accounting operations* Advanced/heavy Excel
Experience* Proficient in SAP* Strong communication SkillsPowered
