Job Description* Responsible for all aspects of federal, state and local tax filing requirements* Prepare federal and state income tax workpapers and supporting documentation* Assist the Company's tax firm on accumulating data and tax return preparation* Perform detailed and primary reviews of all tax returns and processing tax payments, quarterly estimates and extensions* Perform tax research, tax planning and other federal tax projects* Communicate and work closely with company ownership and their advisors on income tax returns and strategies as the company * Manage and oversee the tax accountant responsibilities over for all aspects of state and local sales and use taxes* Manage all federal and state audits and inquiries* Reconcile all tax balance sheet accounts* Prepare and review monthly journal entries and other supporting schedules* Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes* Develop tax accountant knowledge and skill set for career progression* Support CFO and Assistant Controller with accounting projects and analysis Requirements* CPA license* Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills * Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills* Able to communicate with professionals at all levels* Able to work independently and take initiative* Able to adapt to changing priorities* Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines* Detail-oriented* A team player* Strong work ethicExperience* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience REF # 36445#ZR
